As I have diligently studied, to learn how to build my website, then follow what I have learned, all the information becomes very overwhelming. I finally reach, what I think to be close to the end of my creation, only to discover that Google does not like my website. Google has quietly crawled from the rear, to red flag parts of my site; before I can even start running. Now, I’m not a computer geek. I don’t believe staring at the backside of a website at the coding of the keywords and meta tag entries could hold my interest for much longer than ten minutes. And definitely not for the ten hours or more it would take each week to keep my web site functional. That is when I had a decision to make about letting someone else follow me in the rear. Of course, my husband says I have never been good about staying in the rear; that for some reason, I always seem to push forward towards the front to try take over whatever is happening.
This past week has been quite a learning experience for me about keyword optimization, meta tags, source code, submission by electronically indexed and those submissions that have to be hand indexed. Students nowadays are learning a totally different core of subjects than we learned forty years ago. These terms weren’t any where in our education. As a retired teacher, a multi-tasking grandmother, I believe I have enough incoming information at the front of the line to stimulate my mind; therefore, someone else can follow me in the rear to keep my website functioning successfully for Google and the other search engines. My job is to focus on moving this website forward to a successful business venture. For those of you that know me, I was never able to stay at the rear! I have better things to do.

Lake Cherokee from my back yard.
This is the view from my home office. The most relaxing part of my day.
